Craig Thompson is a Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and has 31 years’ postgraduate experience in the civil engineering industry. He graduated in 1993 with a BSc Civil Engineering degree from the University of Cape Town and completed his MBA in 2015 at the Rhodes University.
Craig has extensive experience in both the private and public engineering sectors having worked for consulting engineering companies, district and metropolitan municipalities and a medium sized water board. His consulting engineering experience includes the planning, design and project management of water, sewage, roads, stormwater, bridges, buildings, reservoirs and concrete rehabilitation projects.
His public sector experience has focused on the planning, design, contract management, program management, operations and maintenance of all aspects of water services with particular focus in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.
